Deciding on Mirror Wall Fountain Size

Among all the water fountains in the market, you are dead set in getting a mirror wall fountain. You are simply captivated by the certain glow that radiates from mirror wall fountains that no other fountain material will do for you.

Your only concern now is which type of mirror wall fountain you would invest on. A mirror wall fountain would be a definite winner, a free standing mirror wall fountain would also be nice, and there’s this cute tabletop that you saw the other day that would really look nice on your desk at the den.

There really is no problem if you want to purchase 2 or more mirror wall fountains. But before investing in them, the available space that you have should greatly influence the size of your buy.

WALL FOUNTAINS

Here’ how:

Four Corner Approach

Now that you have the dimensions of the fountain that you are eyeing to purchase measured against the wall, stick posit-it notes or tacks on the corners of your measurement. Take some steps back and check if the size of the fountain can be accommodated by the space available.

Outline Approach

This is somehow similar to the Four Corner method with some additional steps. After putting the tacks to the 4 corners, form an outline by connecting the corners with long strips of tape. By doing this, the outline of your mirror fountain will be more detailed.

Poster Board Cut-out Approach

This entails making a template to the dimensions of your wall fountain. What you do is cut out the dimensions of your mirror fountain on a poster board then hang it on a wall. This takes time and money, and should only be done if the other methods are not up to your standards. However, this is highly useful for new construction as you can write instructions on the poster board for the people who will install your fountain.

TABLE TOP MIRROR FOUNTAINS

Be sure that your desk or table has room for the size of your table top fountain. Get the dimensions of the mirror fountain that you want and place a similar sized object to the area where you want it. This will give you a general idea of the space available after the fountain is placed along with all the other things on your table. You should also give some allowance for the height of the fountain, as the numbers on the package is approximate.

FREE STANDING MIRROR FOUNTAINS

As with Table Top Fountains, the most important thing to consider with floor fountains is the width. Like measuring for Table Top Fountains, measure the area first. Place an object of about the same size as your fountain where you want your floor fountain installed. Checking for height, you can stack some boxes to check for clearance.

MIRROR FOUNTAINS ON THE OUTDOORS

Space should not be a problem with mirror fountains if placed outdoors. However, if you have a small outdoor area, decide on where you want to install your fountain. Before the purchase, of course, you would have to make sure that you have measured the dimensions of the fountain against the space that you have available.
